AlloMap molecular expression testing is now available for cardiac transplants as early as 2 months post cardiac transplant!

For cardiac transplant patients, acute cellular rejection is most worrisome in the first months post transplant. As of Monday, August 21, 2006, AlloMap molecular expression testing is available to help you monitor patients as early as 2 months post cardiac transplant. When combined with patient assessment, AlloMap testing can provide the confidence you need to rule out acute cellular rejection.

Freedom from Future Rejection

A CARGO sub-study showed that patients with scores < 20 in the first 6 months post transplant were free from ACR ≥ 3A(2R) for the next 80 days (~12 weeks)¹.

AlloMap Sample Preparation Training

Only a few simple steps are required to prepare samples for AlloMap molecular expression testing at the XDx Reference Laboratory. These include centrifuging the sample, re-suspending the white blood cells in the plasma, washing the cells, and lysing the cells. XDx provides everything you need and appropriate training to consistently prepare reliable samples for AlloMap testing.

XDx Reference Laboratory Services Guide

XDx supplies to each customer an XDx Reference Laboratory Services Guide. The guide provides an overview of AlloMap testing, sample collection, preparation, and shipping procedures, MSDS information, Customer Service contact information and more. Also, you will get periodic updates to the guide. When you receive updates, please follow the instructions for replacing the old information with the updated information. If you have questions or would like extra copies of the Guide, contact us.

AlloMap Sample Preparation Training Video

XDx supplies an AlloMap Sample Preparation Training Video to each customer. The Video (available in DVD or VHS) provides an overview of AlloMap testing and step-by-step sample preparation instructions. The video is a useful tool for training new personnel in AlloMap sample preparation—or as review for trained laboratory personnel.

Onsite Training

The experienced XDx professionals provide hands-on training for your laboratory staff. Your laboratory personnel can learn the key steps for ensuring a high-integrity sample.
