The AlloMap Testing Process
From Ordering Tests to Delivering Results
AlloMap molecular expression testing is conducted only at the XDx Reference Laboratory in Brisbane, California. Transplant centers must draw and prepare the blood sample according to the specifications outlined in the XDx Reference Laboratory Services Guide and send it to the XDx Reference Laboratory. XDx provides all equipment and supplies and conducts on-site training for sample preparation.

This diagram illustrates the typical AlloMap testing process. Place your mouse over each numbered section for more details. After testing is complete, in most circumstances, XDx bills the patient’s insurer directly. Click here for more information on billing and reimbursement.
