Applying Lessons from CARGO and AlloMap Testing to Other Organs
AlloMap testing is a multi-gene assay that assesses the activity of multiple molecular and cellular pathways involved in the alloimmune response. These processes are critical measures of immune activity and common processes involved in the immune response to all transplanted solid organs.

LARGO Study
The Lung Allograft Rejection Gene expression Observational (LARGO) study was initiated in April 2004 to examine the utility of molecular testing in lung post-transplant patient management. Fourteen centers from five countries and two continents are participating to investigate the utility of gene expression testing for management of lung transplant recipients.

Several thousand samples have been collected into the LARGO database. The LARGO study and database will provide an unparalleled resource for genomic and molecular diagnostic studies and development in lung transplantation. Assuming positive study results, XDx estimates to have a test available for clinical use in lung transplant recipients in the near future.
