AlloMap Sample Preparation Training
Sample preparation is required for AlloMap®, which includes:
- Centrifuging the sample
- Re-suspending the white blood (mononuclear) cells in the plasma
- Pelleting the cells
- Lysing the cells to release and stabilize the mononuclear cell RNA
CareDx® provides all supplies, equipment and training to consistently prepare reliable samples for AlloMap testing. In person training and instructional tools are available.

Sample preparation for AlloMap uses reagent, supplies and equipment which are provided by CareDx. To ensure high-quality samples are prepared, experienced CareDx® professionals provide hands-on training for laboratory staff on the key preparation steps. Please contact CareDx for more information and to schedule an appointment.
A completed, signed checklist provides documentation of training and proficiency in the preparation of samples for AlloMap testing.
