Health Insurance and Financial Assistance
Currently, Medicare and several insurance companies cover AlloMap® testing. Please check with your insurer prior to receiving the test to see if you will be responsible for a co-pay or part of the test cost. In some cases, additional information may be required from you or your transplant team in order to obtain payment. This can include recent medical records or other lab results. If there is information required that only you can provide – a member of the CareDx® Patient Advocacy Team may contact you for assistance.
The CareDx Patient Advocacy Team is here for you
CareDx has a dedicated team of insurance experts and Registered Nurses available to assist in resolving AlloMap billing-related issues. The Patient Advocacy Team works with patients, clinicians and insurance companies to obtain reimbursement through accurate billing and appeals. The Patient Advocacy Team can assist with the following:
- Patient interpretation of insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
- Prior authorization from insurance companies.
- Benefits review to ensure accurate billing.
- Insurance appeals, including information collection and follow up.
CareDx does have a Financial Assistance Program for patients in need. Certain criteria must be met in order to qualify.
Please contact the Patient Advocacy Team at 1-866-383-1924 or email with any questions.
